Your music-on-hold with messages production from Starnote Studios will be delivered to you on a CD either as a digital audio CD track, an audio (.wav) file, or in MP3 format.
Do you produce music-on-hold messages in other languages?

How does a music-on-hold production work with my phone system?
There are basically four types of business phone systems. A traditional multi-line system, a digital phone system, an off-the-shelf phone system or a voice over the Internet system (VoIP) See the following:
Traditional Systems A traditional multi-line business phone setup will have an audio input jack on the system’s main box. This box is called a PBX or a KSU box that is usually located in your business’s back room where the phone line equipment is. You will be able to connect a CD player or an MP3 player into this audio input jack via a 1/8 Inch phone plug cable. (See the example to your left.)
Digital Phone Systems Some phone systems are computer-based. Usually large multi-line companies will use this type of system. Our Music-On-Hold production’s audio file will need to be loaded into the computer’s on-hold file directory. Your company’s IT department or your computer technician can assist you with the installation of this file. Installation is “straight-forward” and easy to do. Please contact us if you have any further questions or need assistance.
Off-the-Shelf Phone Systems If you have a regular off-the-shelf single or multi-line telephone, it can usually be adapted to enable on-hold recordings. Adapters for these phones are available from phone equipment manufacturers. If you need assistance in adapting this type of system, please contact us.
"VoIP" (Voice over Internet Protocol) Telephone System In common terms, this system provides phone service over the Internet and is becoming ever more popular with businesses large and small. The quality is usually as good as or even better than a traditional phone system and it provides the options of having many more features. Best of all, it's usually less expensive than a traditional phone system.
With a technology called “packet-switching” over a network, voice conversations are digitally broken down into tiny "packets" of data. These packets are then sent over the Internet to another caller. The system on the receiving end reassembles the tiny packets of voice data to make the audio understandable.
Using "packet-switching technology" with “VoIP”, as many as 6,000 voice conversations can take place at the same time using the same amount of copper wire that one voice conversation requires on a traditional telephone network.
Most “Voice Over Internet Protocol” telephone systems will also support Music-On-Hold programs as well. The “3Com NBX System” is one example of a “VoIP” system. If you are interested in more information about this system, click HERE
