Do Something Creative Today!
The Global Creativity Crisis
Our world is experiencing a grave creativity crisis. This has been the
case down through history. We are not only losing our creativity but
also giving up our right to be a creative. You may have heard of the
expression on the job "we don't get paid to think". Well unfortunately
this has become the mindset of society today. Even the education
system teaches students what to learn instead of how to learn and
how to be creative.
In many institutions today free creative thinkers with imaginations are
looked down upon as being rebels or nonconformists going against
the system. Down through history power hungry people, monetarist,
rulers and empires have attempted and succeeded many times to
break the creative spirit of mankind in order to keep them repressed.
They do this in order to enslave and control fellow man so they
themselves can greedily thrive and become even more powerful.
They even take advantage of creative people making promises to
them, buying them off so they can continue to accumulate more
wealth and power for themselves. They keep so much monetary
pressure on, that little time is left for creative thinking. Anyone who
tries to pursue something creative is looked down upon as someone
who might be neglecting his or her financial responsibility.
This unnatural condition in the world has led to a grave productivity
crisis and economic devastation. Our greatest asset is not money.
Our greatest asset lies within our ability and potential to be active
creative thinkers and the productivity that results from it. Doing what
we love to do. Doing what we are good at. That's what will create the
most satisfaction and enjoyment in life not only for the one creating,
but for those around him or her as well.
Whole new infrastructures on the horizon to benefit all.
Think of what the world would be like if we could once and for all
unleash the creative potential of a mankind a use it for the benefit of
making our planet a better place. With modern communications and
the Internet, our world has become connected in a way that allows
us to share our creative thoughts and ideas with each other.
A new system is on the horizon. A renaissance about to emerge.
So go out and do something creative today and don't be ashamed of
it. You will help bring about a much needed change. Creativity is
what "getting back to nature is all about.

In the video below, Tony Buzan (father of mindmapping), explains how
we are globally demolishing creativity. According to him we are
teaching uncreativity. We should be teaching 'how to learn' and not
'what to learn'.
